Collapsible aluminium tubes: Perfektüp dimensional ranges
The collapsible aluminium tubes made at Tubettificio Perfektüp have the following characteristics.
The dimensional range of the aluminium tubes goes from ∅ 13.5mm up to ∅ 35mm.
- Plastic ophthalmic nozzle with soft tip, with or without guarantee seal;
- gamma-irradiated aluminum tubes packaged for use in sterile areas.
We offer two different types of tamper evident seals:
- an aluminium membrane on the opening, particularly suitable for dermatological tubes;
- a heat-shrinkable sleeve for ophthalmic tubes, which can be printed and customized in different colors. Available in PET (highly recyclable) which has taken the place of traditional PVC, a ductile but not very environmentally friendly material.

Production of aluminium tubes
Tubettificio Perfektüp inherits over 80 years of presence in the packaging market. The historic factory in Cernusco sul Naviglio was expanded in 2004 to allow an upgrade, which made the company even more competitive from a technological and production point of view, reaching an annual production capacity of over 100 million aluminium tubes. Thanks to this investment, Tubettificio Perfektüp has further expanded its production capacity to meet the highest quality standards required by the market: those of the pharmaceutical sector. State-of-the-art machinery and an attentive, well-trained staff enable the rapid and high-quality production of aluminium tubes.

Printing on tubes: the pre-press department
Printing on aluminium tubes is not as easy as it looks... especially if you want graphics with a good visual impact that enhance your brand. The irregular surface of the tube makes it difficult to adapt designs and logos without distorting them. Sometimes it is also necessary to print certain product information, which must be clearly legible even on the smallest of surfaces (think of drug indications but also the list of ingredients in food and cosmetics).
Tubettificio Perfektüp has an in-house Graphics and Pre-Printing department, which allows all tube printing processes to be followed closely and directly, to meet your every need.
The staff is efficient and helpful, open to dialogue with customers and their creative managers. The presence of experienced graphic designers in the Tubettificio also provides innovative services in the area of digital printing on collapsible aluminium tubes.
Perfektüp Quality Department
In addition to the areas covered by the ISO EN 9001 Quality System, Tubettificio Perfektüp also guarantees all specific aspects required for the production of pharmaceutical primary packaging. The production environments are designed to ensure the hygiene of the products and avoid any kind of contamination. Adequate technical and efficiency maintenance of the facilities ensures stable quality standards.
According to an internal protocol, periodic analyses are carried out on products and in the working environment to keep microbial and particle contamination under control; every year, the results are summarized and evaluated in a specific document.
Thanks to a careful risk analysis, all critical operations were identified and managed appropriately: line cleaning at the start of production, in-process controls, end-of-line controls and sampling under a laminar flow hood, and batch release managed and tracked by workflow.
The result was achieved not only through the care of technological and organizational aspects, but above all thanks to the attentive and trained staff. All Tubettificio Perfektüp employees participate in continuous training courses to ensure that they are always prepared according to the requirements of the pharmaceutical regulatory framework.
Tube packaging and sterilization
When the sterilization of aluminium tubes is required, Tubettificio Perfektüp can prepare the tubes with a suitable packaging for filling in a sterile area.
Each box is protected by a double bag and the packaging specifications are agreed with the customer to optimize transport, irradiation and use.
Depending on requirements, Tubettificio Perfektüp can:
- supply aluminium tubes already irradiated with gamma rays at the standard dose of 25 kGray, thanks to agreements with a leading Italian irradiation facility;
- provide the necessary assistance in defining contracts and specifications in which the relationship between the parties is defined.
Tubettificio Perfektüp is the only Italian packaging company to provide a complete service for the supply of aluminium tubes and to directly follow the irradiation sterilization process, supplying the client company with ready-to-use batches.
Packaging and storage
The ideal packaging is identified for each individual case based on the way the aluminium tubes are filled, transported and stored, meeting the most specific requirements of automated warehouses.
The different types of pallets, outer cartons, boxes (both in size and material) and packaging methods make up a varied offer that includes more than 50 tried and tested solutions from which to choose the optimum one.
Boxes can be made indifferently of cardboard, laminil (food-grade paper sandwich with expanded polystyrene core) and plastic.
Special packaging is available for products subject to radiation.
